Bandwidth
We supply offshore CIR (Confirmed Information Rate) and dedicated service plans for bandwidth on contended or uncontended basis. This includes connectivity service and standard Below Deck Equipment (BDE) required for the offshore industry. We also offer additional value added services which can be quoted for, upon request, for each individual project.
As an all-round provider, TEC Offshore installs all hardware as well as commissioning and maintaining bandwidth for crew entertainment systems and VSAT communication facilities to vessels and installations throughout the world. All services can be part of a package or stand-alone and boast world-wide coverage and monitoring. This ultimately means that you have the option to maintain regular supervision of satellite configurations.
Out of band service is optional to the bandwidth service and is a web-based monitoring facility. This monitoring system tracks operation of the hub and the network to our clients – our ‘trouble-ticket portal’. Our trouble-ticket portal forms part of our 24/7/365 service.
Uniquely, we offer a single point of contact with the obvious advantage of personal contact with the expert dealing with your vessel.
